3M recently introduced the new Ceramic Architectural Series films and the first thing I noticed ( along with my customers ) is the clarity. This is offered in some very light shades so it will not overly darken your windows but certainly help reduce the heat coming in while allowing you to enjoy the natural light. Great option for those who just want the little extra!
